GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
T-N-T: Tight 'n tone! This class will tone both the upper and lower body. Class incorporates use of weights and bands for toning.

Step: A great cardio conditioning class for all levels. Class uses choreographed combinations and a platform called a step or a bench.

Step-n-Flex: Combines intervals of step with upperbody resistance exercises using weights and bands.

Fit Step: A step class with added concentration on varied muscle groups for a complete workout. A basic step routine that concentrates on form as well as aerobic fitness followed by work with weights, bands and/or stability balls to tone both the upper and lower body.

Power Cycle: Experience a unique form of group exercise. Any fitness level can participate in this exciting indoor version of outdoor cycling. An all terrain profile including simulated climbs, jumps and sprints. If you are new to indoor cycling, please arrive early so the cycle can be customized for you. This class is in the cycling room.

Cardio Box: Learn the power punches of a traditional boxing class including hooks, jabs, upper cuts and crosses along with the basic kicks from Martial Arts without high impact moves. Also included are cardio moves such as jumping jacks and jumping rope.

Body Flex: This non-aerobic class is designed to work the body using a series of traditional exercises including squats, chest presses, lifts and curls using a weighted barbell, dumbbells, elastic tubing or body bars. The instructor routinely reviews technique so it's never too late to try your first class!

Yoga: A great class to enhance flexibility, balance, strengthening techniques, and overall toning. Learn proper breathing techniques and proper alignment for neutral spine. Overall, a great class to add to your workout itinerary. Previous yoga experience not required; all levels welcome!

Yogalates: A core strengthening class (hips, back, abdominals & glutes) using traditional pilates mat work and yoga asanas. Previous yoga/pilates experience not required; all levels welcome!

Ab Blast: The name says it all! 15 minutes of ab work.

On The Ball: This class will add a new dimension to your ab and weight training. By working on an unstable surface your core muscles have to work to balance your body. The stability ball trains the weakest link in the chain-movers and stabilizers together. This class will train strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and joint spinal stabilization.

Aerobic Blast: This class will give you an aerobic workout using different class formats. The instructor will use movements from step, hi/low, jump rope or cardio box classes to get your heart pumping.

Sport Fit: A combination of step, agility and aerobic blast moves for a high intensity workout.
For safety reasons, class participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before class starts. This will allow you to complete the warm up portion of class and hear any announcements pertaining to the class. Individuals arriving after the class has started are encouraged to warm up first.
