Reduces Risk of Heart Disease | Health

No matter what your age, you are at risk for heart disease, if you allow certain conditions to exist in your body.

One such condition is periodontal disease. Research has show that periodontal disease can increase the likelihood of stroke and heart disease.
Bacteria and toxins created by the disease enter your bloodstream, travel to the heart, and cause clotting that can lead to other health problems.

Keeping your teeth and gums clean, by brushing, flossing, and visiting your dentist regularly is important not only to help you maintain your perfect smile, but to also keep your wellness routine on track from other angles too.
Make regular dental check ups part of your routine, at least once every six months, and every four months if you haven't been in awhile.
The better you care for your teeth, the shorter your visit will be, and most importantly, the more successful will be your wellness routine.
